Safety Plan

Your health and safety is our top concern.  Here are the safety measures that we’re implementing to stop the spread of COVID-19 and get you back into active physical workouts.  This page will be updated as the situation evolves and health recommendations and regulations are revised.

 

Training Options

 

We are open, in accordance with provincial and municipal regulations for in-person training, outdoors and in approved studio facilities.  Please check out the Training page for more information on our training opportunities. 1:1 and partner training is now available.  Small group outdoor training options are also available, and are socially distant and in accordance with local limits on group gatherings and training sessions.  Clients purchasing indoor training options will be offered an opportunity to switch to outdoor training should indoor training be further restricted in the future.  All training sessions (1:1 and group) must be reserved in advance to ensure proper social distancing.   

Screening

All appointment bookings will include a screening questionnaire to screen for possible exposure to COVID-19.  If you have been exposed, or believe you may have been exposed and are awaiting a test result, please do not book or attend a session until you have been tested and received confirmation of a negative test. 

Since bookings are taken in advance, all clients will be screened again at check-in for your session / class. 

Cleaning

  • All outdoor training equipment will be fully sanitized between clients using a disinfectant confirmed to be effective against SARS-Co-V-2 by Health Canada

  • All studio training equipment will be wiped down before and after use by the client or trainer and will be cleaned regularly in accordance with studio cleaning protocols 

Trainers

  • Wear masks at all times during the training session and as required by the studio (for indoor training) 

  • Use hand sanitizer when entering the studio and frequently throughout the day

  • Use disinfectant wipes and/or spray on equipment before and after use in addition to studio’s cleaning protocols

  • Maintain 2 meters physical distance from clients, except as required for instruction and client safety

Clients

  • Sign-in and complete a form regarding current health status immediately upon arrival.  Screening questions will be driven by Toronto Public Health recommended COVID-19 Screening Protocols and questions 

  • Agree to all required procedures and protocols before and during their visit, making sure they follow the guidelines effectively.  (Facility procedures and protocols will be shared on confirmation of your booking)

  • Use hand sanitizer when entering the studio and frequently throughout their visit, and use a face mask as outlined by the studio

  • Use disinfectant wipes on equipment before and after use in addition to studio’s cleaning protocols

Personal Training Sessions

  • Clients and Personal Trainers will maintain two meters distance, except as required for instruction or client safety

  • Trainers will minimize touching surfaces or equipment during training sessions. E.g. spotting, picking up equipment for clients.

  • Personal Trainers and Clients will be asked to follow all studio policies and protocols when training inside a facility.

  • All personal training, partner training, and group training sessions will be set-up so clients remain at least 2 - 3 meters apart during the training session, as dictated by local health regulations

  • All group training sessions are by reservation only to limit the number of participants in accordance with local health regulations
